You should see a doctor if possible, especially if this continues. Your digestive tract is bleeding somewhere & it could be ulcers or other serious irritation, even cancerous growth. Don't ignore this. But...IF you return to normal in a day or 2, it could just have been something like swallowing a strong medication without enough water. Good luck.

Could be a variety of things. I suffered from salmonella and campylobacter poisoning 25 years ago and it gave me ulcerative colitis. Sometimes I pass blood like that but it's always bright red. If yours is dark it could be bleeding from higher up the intestine. See a doctor immediately even if you have no pain. Also don't be embarrassed. Doctors are used to this and have seen it all before. Don't be alarmed by some of the answers that will be posted just take my advice and see the doc. It may be something quite innocuous. Whatever it is it can be treated. Get to a doctor as soon as possible. Any changes in your bowels should be checked out

Might be H-pylori? Blood is never a good thing.
