You could put some ice on the back of your neck.
Get adjusted by a D.O. that specializes in cranial/OMT
Get a prescription for a muscle relaxor
Take a nap on your side so as not to put pressure on your neck.
Try drinking some caffeine, eat chocolate, and taking a migraine medication.
Take a hot shower the heat will open up the blood vessels and loosen the muscles.

I have 3-4 migraines a day caused by a brain tumor. I find that ice packs works the best. And sometimes I put icy hot on my neck to take the edge off. Others wise good ole pain relievers.

Sounds to me that you may have a pinched nerve or that your body is out of whack. If your feet or spine is out of line it can cause you to have pain. At first i took all kinds of meds and even had a shot from my doc. That only masked the problem, but did not solve it. Than i went to see my chrio. Found out that i had a pinched nerve. He gave me an adjustment and within an hr..i was back to the old me. It was nice not having to dope my self up on meds. You really should try it. I think you would like the results. Wish you well..

better breathing and better diet will take them away.
It did for me.
If you don't already, learn to breathe through your nose only. that's a start...
After trying for 10 years. I finally lost 150+ lbs (12 stone) and kept it off for over 4 years now. I've beaten 3 terminal diseases and I am now in amazing health, all around, not just thinner.
I did it without medicine, workouts, religion, going hungry or hating my food and without an operation or secret formula. I had tried counting: calories; carbs; fat; etc. I had tried jogging, swimming, weights, aerobics, crazy medicines and starving! But nothing ever worked well or lasted very long.
I also had Hypertension, High Blood Pressure, Chronic Asthma, vision and hearing loss. constant colds and ills, annual flu or pneumonia and more. I was approved for bypass surgery and taking usually between 16 and 20 pills a day.
take a look at my before and after pictures...
