Is it possible for us to be so in tune with our inner thoughts, such as secret desires/dreams/possibilities, that when we close our eyes, and get into that "mental state" we can hear them out loud? Can this projection of thought start out as an idea and within hours develop into a completely enhanced awake dream state that goes as far as you hear another person's whispering) being able to carry on conversations with them?

These things are heard in a whisper or a light voice. It usually comes through when I have to listen CLOSELY to hear, usually some kind of background white noise is on but not always. Also, I seem to be able to morph random sounds in the house to fit into my "projection" to enhance it's possibilities.

Also, these conversations ALL INVOLVE ME and my own possibilites/thoughts. There are no interjections of statements neg or pos that come from some other schizo voice.

Also, I am not able to tune into it all the time. Is there a way to train the mind?

I am social worker and have worked with schizophreniacs and I know for a fact I do not have this mental disorder. I have never been diagnosed with a mental disorder nor am I taking any prescription medications.

I also do not wish to blame my projection of thoughts on Satan.

So, please, no smart allec comments. I am really serious here.
Thanks....

I absolutely do NOT claim to have magical qualities or extremely psychic abilities either. I am not a witch or claim to be.

This "projection" is not something I see on the wall or in front of me standing there like humans. It comes only in the form of sounds, conversations and thoughts in my head (and sometimes spoken out loud by myself) with responses that only I can hear.

I find it ironic that conventional Christians would put you down for this, knowing as I do that if such experiences were written in a religious context, like conversations with God or a guardian angel, these same people would be sending you God-bless-you fan mail. It's pretty obvious to me that these critics would have booed Paul right out Rome. But that's just an aside observation.

I'm not sure how this relates to astral projection, but I think what you're doing is tapping into a meditative state which runs very deep. Maybe it would help if you would keep a journal about when this happens, and what the circumstances are when you're successful. It sounds to me almost like you're delving into a dream state in a sense, although wide awake. Dreams can open doorways between the conscious and subconscious, and throw light in dark places. Maybe you've found a way to do this without the process of dreaming.

This is happening to me too, At least something very similar. The voice is not quite a voice. I describe it more as a stream of connected ideas that float up to the surface of my consciousness. At times it does seem to be a voice though. They often seem to be something external to my usual thought processes, but I think they are somehow internally generated. I can carry on a conversation with it too. The answers that I get are at times sort of a shock to me. It is almost like it is trying to teach me things that I need to know.

I have written some of the more memorable ones down. If you are interested in reading any of them e-mail and I will send a couple. For a while I thought I was loosing my grip on reality. I took the things I was writing to a priest and then to a shrink. The priest was at least predictable. He cautioned against the possibility of demons. The shrink just shook her head and said Don this does not look to me like you are going insane. If fact it looks like you are becoming far saner than the rest of us could ever hope to be.

Any way I’m glad to read your post. Not a lot of people you can talk about this stuff with if you know what I mean. It is a great way to get rid of someone that is bothering you though. Nothing quite sends them on their way better than telling them about the disembodied voices that you have been hearing. I have been practicing and it seems to get better the more that you do it. Often beats the heck out of regular reality. Have you been studying the course in miracles? I have heard of this happening to people who have been reading it for a while.

Love and blessings

Read Robert Bruce's Astral dynamics. It's a HUGE thick book but there could be something in there that could help you. It's been a while since I've read it (and I haven't been able to read it all!!!) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1571741437/104-8774777-8225524?v=glance&n=283155

I think what you're thinking about is possible. I've done some remote viewing before and some small projections but can't usually control it. Good luck!

Absolutely - there are many medative techniques that you can learn - The Buddhists are particularly well known for this. For example Tibetan monks have been known to train their minds to cause objects to levitate and other such psychological feats. The key to it all is to be able to focus your mind sufficiently on the task in hand ie to free yourself from other distractions and thoughts. It is not easy to do in our society, but keep on focusing and you will achieve it!!

This does not sound like the classical description of astral projection. In any event, I recommend that you engage in meditation. It sounds like you are easing the flow of information from your subconscious to your conscious mind. Meditation can assist with this.

When I used to meditate, I found it was easier to see the things that were already in front of me. The mind tends to complicate things. We believe what we want to be true - that's not always reality. For me, it's really just about perception.
