He (family member) survived after being for 3 months hospitalized. It was a dramatic experience for me. There are times that everything comes back to my memory...Will this affect my future personality?

Yes. You must be a good person to do what you did. It effects you for a long time. You start thinkig what had lead them up to it. Memoring different things about how this happened. You will always be even more causus when around others. But you need to get you head together and live your life for your self too. We can only help those that want to be helped.Just keep being the good person you are and look on the bright side, you helped someone that need it. Good Luck Pem

In some cultures, it is said that you have created a life debt in that the person you saved is owned by you.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to that idea however, there are laws against such things.

With any luck the person you saved will be greatfull and may live out a full and productive life.

You can be rewarded by saving that person for suicide his or her self.

yes it already has, learn from it. trauma hurts us all. ask yourself for peace of mind it will come.
