Any hate crime is horrible.

Among murder generally, I don't think you can say there's a worst kind. All murder is a hate crime in that it's all fueled by hatred. I think that making one kind of murder worse by law than another (by calling it something else, like "hate crime" and punishing it differently) based on motive--which is speculatory at best since we'll never know why exactly the killers did what they did--inadvertently lessens the weight of the other kinds of murder. Plus, punishing motives rather than consequences could potentially lead us down a slippery slope of punishment of thoughts that others attribute to us.
All murder is heinous, and all murder should be punished with proportionate sentencing--no kind is worse than another based on motives alone.

Probably Saddam gassing those millions of Kurds years ago. Those people died and the ones that didn't die are deformed for the rest of their lives. Women, children, men, everyone that was exposed either died or is permanently disfigured.

all of them are bad...hence the word hate before crime.
hate is hate and the only thing that would make either one of them worse than the other is if it was like a mass killing for any one of these reasons.

There's no hate crime thats good. People should not be hurt because of something they are naturally.

Killing is gruesome, horrendous, hideous, despicable, repugnant, obscure, and heinous.The one Adolf Hitler committed ( killing 5 million Jews and not been remorseful.) He said he was acting on God's command.
