I actually work for a pharmautical company and one of drugs is actually for depression.

A depression disorder is an illness that involves the body, mood, and thoughts. It affects the way a person eats, sleeps and interacts with other people.

A lof of things can trigger depression. It could be a genetic disposition. Does someone in his immediate family have it? It can be triggered by a loss (either job loss or loss of a friend/family member), Low self-esteem, financial problems, anything really.

If any of this sounds familiar then get your man to see a therapist. There is nothing wrong with admitting something is wrong. That is people's biggest misconseption. That "it's only me" It's not! Each year 14.8 million people are diagnosed with depression. It is becoming one of the top leading diabilities worldwide.

Again get him to talk someone. Let him know that he is not alone and there is a reason why this is happening. Whatever happens I wish you both the best of luck.

That's pretty good so far, add having no money, having no job, having no hope.
Get your man up and give him hope! Show him you guys will work together on any problems (that's where men are counting on their women-to "pull them up" when they are weak),
If this doesn't apply to you, whooops ah'm sorry, Ma'am.
