Where is a good site to prove to my friend that modern day direct miracles happen? He's looking for examples of like when Jesus healed the guards ear instantly. Also he doesn't believe in modern day tongues. Any suggestions? Thank you and may God bless you.

Try visiting Benny Hinn's website. ...or tape/watch a Benny Hinn service from tv. ...but even then it is still up to your friend to believe. ...and there are people like me who are still alive only because of a miracle (or several) from God.

I am not sure of places you can go. I know many modern miracles have happened. Where I would look is Catholicanswers.com. As far as prayer tongues...Have you ever been to a prayer group where it happened. Perhaps invite your friend to it. I was a skeptic that prayer tongues were given to everyday people myself. Until I went to a catholic conference for Teens (years ago I'm not a teen any more) and experienced it myself. Most of all pray. God will guide you. And remember that believing in Prayer Tongues is not essential to salvation.

I'm an modern day direct miracle. I was an alcoholic & addicted for most of my life,homeless basically, I always had an job because I needed one definitely to supply my habit along with my boyfriend & some friends, I was an friendly addicted too. December 31, 2001 I was so tired of being tired that I wanted to die. First I was afraid to hurt myself therefore I was an coward because I knew also to take my life is an deadly sin for Jesus gave me life. In the mid night hour I remeber crying & drinking & in I called on His name "GOD HELP ME" January 7, 2002 is my soberity day, I have not picked up nor drink since that day. No I had nor AA sponser, I had to attend several meeting because County Welfare order it, but it had no action in my life today. I leaned on the Lord for all things & I'm still leaning on the Lord said as I write these words. Today I'm redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb & I want for nothing, I have everything I need & all that I want. I am content in my life today & I gave God "ALL" the GLORY for He is worthy & I can do all thing in Christ who strenghten me, he orders my steps. So trust in the Lord for He is you strenght when you are weak. He's that joy, that lover, that friend, that peace like the river, He is your everything all you have to do is "trust & obey" for He is the rock of my salvation & I shall not be moved. Please brothers & sister in Christ "do not" like the devil decieve you because he cares nothing about you at all, there is hope in anything that you are going through just call His name He is waiting to come sup with you. I am that person of the promise of hope, it is there, just open the door to your heart so that He can come in & fill "your" cup. Just taste it you will truly be Blessed always. Just 'believe' & want was God has for you because God has another plan always. Remeber For God so loved the world tha He gave His only begotten son because He loved you so much that you may live abundantly in Christ & recieve all the promises that are included in the plan hHe had for all who thrist & long for eternal life. Would you try Him wholeheartily today? I will keep you in my prayers.

Well I don't know of a website like that because frankly, if your friend is ready to believe, he will. For me, it took my father being healed of cancer and my friend's niece being healed of cancer. In both cases, the doctors said that radiation and chemo were necessary and even then they couldn't say my dad would make it. When both went to the doctors for fallow up tests, the cancers were gone. They didn't have chemo or radiation. That's all it took for me...knowing that God heard and answered my prayer...my dad is healed 110% and so is my friend's niece. God is good

I dont think any sites will prove it to your friend. There is all kinds of evidence for just about anything someone wants to believe. The only proof there really is, is personal experience.

Yet God will not heal armymen who stepped over landmines and blow off both of their legs.
Why won't god heal amputees?
