Roofies are very dangerous "date rape" drugs. The correct name of the drug is Rohypnol. Spanish fly is a much older substance made from crushed beetles; it has some agricultrual use, but was widely believed to be an aphrodisiac. It's dangerous too. Keep your drinks in sight at all times--don't give anyone an opportunity to drop anything in there.

roofies are also known as the date rape drug. Rhohipnol or something like that. and Spanish Fly is just some made up thing that they sell across the border to stupid gringos thinking they are going to get the ladies all hot and horny

Roofies are a date rape drug, but some people I knew in college would take them to get the buzz going (like, if they needed to ctach up with their drunk friends because they had to work late or something). We don't talk anymore.
