qtiebaby is right. Depends on the drug as to legnth of time for withdraw to go away, but a good rule of thumb for most is about 2 weeks.

But that doesn't touch the cravings and actual addiction. I quit without NA, but I did start a relationship with GOD.

I will only say this, you will probably need a support group of some type to talk to. This is to get things out in the air instead of in your head.

I would recommed NA meetings. I started going after 9 months clean and they helped me.

It does depend the drug you are taking for the withdrawl stage. Most people need help. Only those that are extremely strong willed can actually quit without help. I would check with your local NA to find a sponsor. They can and will help you through it, and get you help if you need it. Good Luck kicking what ever bad habit you may have.

You could try on your own, but if it doesn't work for you, just check with a Dr. because he can give you something to help you. They don't want to see anyone suffer, from a drug addiction.Trust me. You can also get info. on line, on how to get rid of drug addictions, on your own.Just type in what type of drugs, & what will help in releiving the addiction,--- to them. I hope this will help you.

Depends on what drugs you're taking and how serious your addiction is

depends on the drug and addiction level, but you're more likely to be successful if you look for and obtain help

Pot? Hard drugs? Don't kid yourself Amy. Get help. Talk to a counselor at school or your minister at Church.
