egg yokes are good and so is a hot oil treatment with olive oil. If your ends are split, it's simply a good idea to get a hair cut. Finally, using product with UV protection will also help. good luck!

You should really just leave it alone for a good while, at least a year. Get it trimmed once a month and get you some leave in conditioner, Paul Mithchelle has a good one also Visible Changes. A lot of store bought shampoos have alcohol in them and that is so bad for your hair. You need to invest in a really good shampoo and stay with it. Target has one called, Bio Silk and it's kinda pricey but it's worth it. Every now and then, treat your self to a conditioner treatment at the salon, those are really heavy duty and make a huge difference. Take your multy vitamins and don't wash your hair every day. Our hair carries a natural oil and if you wash it daily, it tends to dry it out a lot so try washing it every other day. Oh and one more thing, if your gonna brow dry, flat iron, or curl your hair, let your hair air dry first because your burning it by doing it while it's wet. Good Luck!

First try to get a hair cut if you have not had one recently.
Then you need to find a good shampoo. (if your hair was color treated then there is this great shampoo for colored hair that does not contain any of the sulfate stuff. It's called "Purology") a little pricy, but works great.
Use coconut milk on your hair, it makes it softer and stronger.
Also, try to go to a professional where they can do a hair mask to take care of the damage... or you can do your own:
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 tablespoon sesame seed oil
1/2 an avocado
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
double if your hair is long
Place all over your hair and roots, cover with a warm damp towel for 1/2 an hour.
Wash and shampoo with warm water....

First thing first. if u r a black woman then you can use pink its hair moisturizer and put that all through your hair. then go to the store and try to find some mink oil. its in a jar with a green top. grease your scalp with that. it works. use pantene for women of color and it says something about damaged hair on the bottle. if it doesn't work then go to your nearest hair dresser. now you have to use this remedy every night before you go to bed. know if your a white woman then i don't know what to do for you. if your a guy i still don't know what to do for you.so hopefully your a black woman.

depends what kind of damage you are talking about, if you mean just split ends then you need to get a trim, but if you dye or bleach your hair regularly, try using a cholesterol., completely saturate your hair with it and put a processing cap on, leave it on as long as you can (15-30min.) before rinsing. do this once a week, that should help :)

you need to be nice to your hair. every time you blow dry it, iron it, use hairspray, other stuff like that, you are damaging it. i dont know you or what you have been doing to your hair, but if you are harming it by doing any of those things, you should start the recovery process by reducing or eliminating all those damaging activities.

If it's very damaged, cut it off and start over. Otherwise, try the Pantene restoratives shampoo and conditioner.
