A good question. Governments can change thing fast and the only way for you to know for sure is to communicate with the Landlord/Tenant section of local and State gov.
..Another place would be the better bus. bureau, the chamber of commerce, or real estate agent, or apartment finder type person.

Or come to think of it...ask any landlord, they will know.
