Keep your friendship going and see how long that bf lasts. You might be next in line if you don't do anything stupid like convince her to cheat on her bf. Not saying you would but I've known many a man I wouldn't put it past. Coming from experience, it's better to have a lasting friendship behind a romantic relationship, otherwise you have nothing. Hang in there. If it happens it happens. If it doesn't then it wasn't meant to.

Become her friend, talk to her, be nice with her (dont upset her BF tho..lol) and if she happens to break up with her bf.. which hopefully for her sake (no offense towards you) she wont,... if shes happy hopefully she wont.. anywayz... then try to cheer her up, let her be for a lil while and then ask her outl.. but if she does split with her BF, dont rush things... just become really good friends with ehr =)

well don't just ask her out plane something then ask her and a few other people out if that works out ask her out (only if you think you have a shot otherwise just be a good friend)
