Is there a cure for skin cancer and if there is,where and when was it discovered at?

There actually ARE cures for some cancers. A "cure" is defined as no cancer recurring after 5 years. The easiest way to "cure" skin cancer is to perform surgery on it. Early stage cancers can be cured this way. Later stage cancers require additional treatment (radiation therapy is common). Later stage cancers are harder to cure, however, because they've grown for a longer period of time and may have spread.

Please don't put much credence into last two statements above. Cancers are not caused by an oxygen rich environment or because proteins are clogging up our blood vessels from the foods we eat. And we haven't discovered or developed extremely successful cures for cancer because of the complexity of the disease! Each cancer is different!! It's NOT all about the money. Thousands of researchers (myself included) slave away in labs trying to understand cancer in the hopes of contributing to better treatments and to ease suffering.

As far as to when it was discovered, surgery of cancers have been around for hundreds of years. It's hard to say when the first surgery for cancer was actually accomplished.

Not so much a cure but the CAUSE has been discovered in the 1930's!! And by this discovery they can cure it. Of course the big pharmaceutical companies have a billion dollars per year riding on the "treatments" they recomend so they do not want a cure. Why do you think there have been no real "CURES" discovered since polio? It's all about the Money!

The cause they discovered is your body being acidic. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an alkeline, oxygen rich enviroment. You can get PH test strips at most pharmacies. Do searches on the internet for this and you will discover this is the "radical treatment" that people travel to other countries to recieve for their cancer treatment. They put them on a strict diet to "kill off" the cancer cells by turning the body to an Alkeline State.

more than one cure.
all cancer is caused by two things...

1. a weak immune system
every western human get at leats one new cancer cell a day. some people are able to fight it off others are not. Our immune systems are weak because we cook all the good out of our food. We are all starving to death even though we're eating like there's no tomorrow.

and

2. poor blood flow (no oxygen to cells = cancer)
animal protein in our diet is blocking our veins.

me, i know a little bit about health form my personal experience.

There are different types, some of which can be "cured". Melanoma, the most serious kind, can't be cured so far, but it can be removed. There is always the chance that it could come back though, and it usually comes back worse.

there are no "cures" for any kind of cancer...yet. But...there are treatments that can successfully get rid of the cancer (but then you have to always be on "watch" for new cancers")
