alcohol does have basic ingredients but they dont want you to know how to brew it, cigarettes is a very grey area and i dont really understand
im not sure if government wants u to believe they are trying to help u to quit or they are just in need of the tax money they get from them, cigarettes contain all sorts of things (like saltpeter) to make the taste sweeter and more addictive, the paper contains something similar to sacharin or starch to make it burn slower, thats why rollies are an acquired taste and possibly also to stop u buying cheap smuggled baccy - they are one of the only things not regulated very strongly so i often think of the taxes as a backhander to governments for keeping schtum
nocotine is one of the most addictive substances going, yet government is always complaining smoking costs nhs £ms

Yeah I'd wondered this too.
Alcopops especially, probably full of E numbers and stuff.
With ciggies, I understand there's about 106 different chemicals soaked into the papers of the ready rolled ones (Camel, Malboro, B&H etc), whereas a rizla has just a couple, and the rolling baccy is pure.
Asthma sufferers have been told by doctors to at least get onto rollups if they can't stop smoking.
Of course, this may not be technically accurate, I'm no doctor or scientist !

If they did do you think it would make any difference? They already tell you that smoking kills, does that stop people smoking?
Assume they put a similar label on booze! Booze makes you drunk, or booze will kill you, would that stop people drinking?
How about the egg scare 'eggs will give you salmonella' how many warnings or ingredients do we need? no one cares any more, have you been shopping and tried to read all the labels on the stuff you buy? No chance, bird flu? you name it we'll all catch it, the whole thing is now completely out of hand., no one cares any more !
I am sitting here with a very large vodka, and frankly I dont give a sh**!

well because if they put ingredients on cigerettes it'll probably make u fell sick, theres tar and everything in cigarettes and a fink they do with alcohol.

whiskey for example was salt in it...some cigarettes have flavoring ingredients (cherry flavor...etc)
