If the child is still misbehaving in such a way that they need a whoopin' at that age, then give it to them. All it takes is one good *** beatin' and they'll never do it again. Believe me. lol I was always in trouble for something. lol

YES! Spank them now or you will regret it later. There is nothing wrong with discipline, especially for a teenage child. Now a days it's so scary to even walk down the street with all the teenage gangs and violence and i think that if someone would have loved them enough to beat their behinds, they would be just fine. I'm 33 and I still respect and listen to my parents. They were good parents, but they didn't play with any of us and we grew up with the understanding that a child is a child and an adult is an adult, point blank! I love children, trust me i do, in fact, i have a boys group of 13 teenagers and Lord knows i love them all but i don't play with them at all. I've had them since they were in 5th grade and they will be seniors this year and when they act out, i put them out, but they always come back because they know i love them and they also know that i believe in discipline. But to get back, they have to do community work. They are the best 13 boys NOW, that i have ever seen and I'm proud of every one of them but i feel that if you love them, you'll keep them in subjection, i don't want to see them in jail one day, so yes, beat him, spank him, discipline him...like it says in the bible, spare the rod, spoil the child.

I have a 14 year old and I know sometimes you want to spank them LOL but no they are too old what you can try to do is talking to him and setting some boundaries

Once a child hits the teenage years, they are too old to be spanked.

Ummm...well depends on what type of....no no never mind your too young for that "type" of spanking. And your definitely TOO OLD for discipline spanking from a parent. That's just weird.

Spankings are never good. There are so many ways to punish children. No allowance no company no mall no clothes so many ways. See what they really want and play keep away.

If grounding them from something doesn't work, then an old fashion whooping may be all you need. It worked on me that is for sure.

yes. if you have to then do it. you cant let children run all over you.they will turn out to be horrible people. discipline needs to in a household with kids. maybe take all of his things box them up and ground him or her to their roomuntil they can act right again.
