Some Christians believe that "God wouldn't do that to the Human race." That's their rationale. Seriously.

What does being a Christian got to do with global warming? I am a Christian and I believe there is global warming. Why are you pointing at just one group of people? What about Buddhists and Muslims? Do they believe? Sounds very prejudice to me. If anything, Christians believe that we are nearing a time of many disasters, including global warming, as predicted.

Christians refuse?

Well, the global warning is indeed a problem. I think the issue is how much of it can be blamed on man and how much on natural occurrences

There was a 60 minute episode on Bush hiding the scientist's real opinions last night.
All news releases has to go through the white house for review and editing. Here is the link to lasts night episode:

Because the Earth is a system, it goes through cycles, some warming, some cooling. These cycles take hundreds if not thousands of years. The global warming freaks are taking their data, starting at the end of the last cooling cycle, rather than showing you the ups and downs.

Other than some sort of attempt to bash them, it has nothing to do with Christians.

The same reason that some non-Christians refuse to believe that it is a real threat.

It doesn't help that many advocates of global warming mix in a generous dose of sensationalism with their science.

it's not a threat for 2 reasons.

1 Christians don't think the world will be around much longer because of Biblical prophesies.

2. Nearly 20,000 scientists have disproved the finding of less then 200 scifi guys that falsified their reports, facts and findings; but C02 is actually beneficial not harmful, as they falsely report it.

God (if there is one) gave humanity dominion over the earth...that means exploit its resources to the fullest. Problem is that many of those resources have finite supplies and theortically humanity can reproduce infinitely (be fruitful and multiply). Hence a problem called global warming. PEACE!

Its not just Christians.
The Earth is warming but the reason for it and the things to do about it are greatly under debate.

The geologic record indicates MANY such "warmings" and "coolings" without humans - and the Earth survived them.
It'll survive this one too.

Because it's all mere speculation, nothing can be proven... And BTW, not only the Christians refuse to believe that.
