I have a simple but delicious salmon recipe that I make pretty often for my husband and I and we both love it.

1 - Put foil on a cookie sheet (helps cut down on cleanup) spray some non-stick spray and place salmon skin side down on sheet. Sprinkle will a little salt and pepper and either dried rosemary or fresh (use more if fresh so you get the flavor).

2 - You can do the same as above with ingredients, but melt a small amount of butter in a nonstick pan and place salmon flesh side down (already seasoned before you place in pan). It creates a bit of a crust on the salmon and seals in the flavors.

You can squeeze a little lemon on if you like, and this recipe works great on chicken too! :)

Best Salmon recipe ever!

You can grill or bake it and it is sooo simple. Put out the filet (preferably the tail end, skin still on) on a pan. Put a pat of butter or two (margarine or butter spray works fine too). Season with garlic salt, pepper, and tarragon. Cook until done. Put a spritz of lemon on top. Grilling is preferred. A one pound piece will take about 25 minutes on med-low heat.

Best way that I've found to prepare salmon is in tinfoil with pam cooking spray, lemmon pepper, garlic and chives. YUM!!! It's so simple but tastes wonderful. Just put it in the oven at 400 degrees and cook for roughly 12-15 minutes. BBQ is a much better way to go but not realistic to cook it that way on a daily or semi-daily basis

This sounds wierd, but is true:

Salmon steaks or fillets on the grill. Brush mayonnaise on them before grilling. They get all tender flaky, but don't stick to the grill. The mayo burns off.

You shouldn't eat salmon more than once a week because of the ridiculously high levels of mercury in it. This is especially true of farm-raised salmon because they feed them chum that is chock-full of mercury!

eat as much salmon as you want - smoked one is best, mix it with a green salad, olive oil (1 spoon), lemon (as much as you like) ! you can put always some spices and herbs for the taste, but the ones above really do the trick! bon appetite!
