If you are not happy with the product don't take any risks. Return it to the store and ask for your money back or a suitable replacement. If they don't co-operate take the salad to the nearest Public Health authority and show it to them with your concerns. Tell the shop you are doing this and that you'll ask for them to be closed whilst being investigated. Works a treat.

I spent one month in hospital and six months off work due to eating undercooked chicken which gave me salmonella and campylobacter poisoning and nearly killed me. I still take tablets for ulcerative colitis that it caused 25 years later. It took me three years to pluck up enough courage to eat chicken again.

It's probably fine, but it would be safer not to eat the turkey. Either just eat the salad without the turkey or pick out the turkey, cook it in the microwave for a little bit and add it back to the salad when it's fully cooked.

I'm sad for ya as well, Turkey is one of my faves.

It means it was undercooked, and yes it could cause something,,,maybe not life threatening, but undercooked poultry especially is such a lazy chefs way to do it,,,sigh.

I empathize, though I know that doesn't help, or fill you. I wish you well in your next choice.

I have no clue about Ralphs, but if it's anything like a 7 - 11,,,no real offense to them, it's a processed sandwich/salad, etc, meaning its MASS produced, and care should always be taken in purchasing such.

Put the turkey in a microwave or something & cook it. (Warm meat on a salad is actually pretty good!) I suggested that cause yes, at this point it is inedible. Pork & poultry of any type are supposed to be white for it to be safe to eat. If it is pink that means it is not fully cooked & you would be at risk for salmonella poisoning.

That just means that its a little undercooked which isn't that bad. You could put it in the microwave for a second.
