what opinions could i possibly have? it's something that happens ,and while it couldn't possibly happen to me because of my metabolism,it does to others.
i've met people resembling both situations, and what annoys me is that others tend to pick on them often

"It is stupid" " I couldn't do it because of my metabolism" What do you guys think this is? Anorexia and bulimia are serious eating disorders, they are mental illnesses, diseases, not little teenage diets.

http://www.somethingfishy.org I hope that is the right link, if not just google it, but that is a very good site about eating disorder information.

Contrary to populary opinion, anorexics do not "choose" to not eat, they have an obsession, a compulsion, not to. It's like... schizophrenia for lack of better example. They don't choose to hear voices and see things, nor do anorexics choose to "become" that way. They develop it over a period of time.

There are several different ways one can develop an eating disorder, too. And it isn't all about food either, when one with an eating disorder starves, or purges ( throws up by force), it releases chemicals into their brain that make them feel better, make them feel in control, even though they are far from in control of anything in their life.

When it is taken away from them, it is as if you took heroin away from a junkie. They can't just "start eating" or " stop throwing up", it doens't work that way, it is a lot more complicated.

Anyone with any questions, feel free to PM me on yahoo. My ID is ellster456. I know what it is like to be in the clutches of an eating disorder, and I hope none of you develop one, and those of you who have one, I wish you much luck.

I think it is very dangerous and unhealthy. I don't think any one should lose wait by not eating or by throwing up what they eat. Although i am not a doctor i do work in the health care field and as far as i know that is the # 1 dangerous thing in teenager’s life here in America. It is sad because now days all most all women think that they have to be skinny as a stick in order to be accepted. Hopefully teenagers and adults will stop starving themselves in order to lose wait. Although you might not think it is dangerous when you do it, in the process you might end up creating a bigger health issue for yourselves. If any one out there thinks it is ok to do it, it is wrong and my advice will be stay out off it!

I heavily dislike Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, and the All american rejects, the singers voices all whine, and its fairly demanding. IMO there song does not sound good. i like early green Day, each little thing pre warning kicked ***, the stuff they are putting out isn't the comparable. i in my opinion have not heard lots of gadget, yet human beings tell me they are good R.E.M is in basic terms a good band, they have placed out many super albums and that they're going to continually have a brilliant effect on new song coming in. Im no longer a brilliant fan of U2, yet I understand them plenty basically with the aid of fact of all the best issues they do.

I don't know. I have thought about doing it a few times, but somehow I just eat anyways. Either that or people make me eat. I don't like having to deal with it. It's really not that serious for me, I eat and everything but I am always always thinking about how I look, and if I look fat. Soo I dont know, I think it is horrible, and nobody should have to go through it.

I think people should take it seriously and go to a doctor or talk to some one they can trust and get counseling

They are eating disorders and people with these disorders need psychological treatment. It's not a lifestyle choice, it's a disease.
