This is a great turning point in your life! Middle school is a big step, I know it's easier said than done, but try not to stress as much, and enjoy your time there. If it's a new school (as my 6th grade was) it never hurts to go to the school before the first day and walk around, familiarize yourself. Take a friend's older sibling that's gone to that school, or one of your own siblings for that matter. If you are at least somewhat familiar with the building, it alleviates a whole bunch of first day jitters...and who knows, you might be able to tell someone where something is, and find some friends that way :) Enjoy yourself, life is too short to stress.

Nyahh...don't worry about it. I know it sounds scary, but everyone goes thru that. You know, you might get a lost sometimes here and there, but it's really common to feel that way. Give yourself a little time and you'll adjust in no time! Trust me, I've been thru that, and it wasn't that bad. The older you get, the harder the adjustment period will be for you as you go from middle school to high school to college and to so forth, so think of this as your first baby step. Just take one step at a time and take a deep breath. It really isn't so bad.

So is everyone else that is going into 6th grade. Forcing yourself to do uncomfortable things will only make your life better. Keep pushing until you are feeling nervous. At that point you will be pushing your boundaries and growing your circle of comfort.

It's all good, like an adventure! But be prepared, you may have to share a locker in gym class with someone else. I just hope you don't have a locker mate like I did in Jr. High, she never took her socks home to wash!!! Ewww! Good Luck!

Don't be nervous. Everyone in your class will be in the same boat. Nothing to be nervous about. It will all work out.

Are you nervous because you think you will forget your combinations? Just write them in a safe place only you know and before you know it, it will be burned in your memory. You'll have fun. Be yourself and make new friends-be open to new possibilities.

aw! it's normal to get nervous, but think you are growing and will have to get more harder responsiblities to handle. Take everything as a challenge.
