What do you call belief anyway? Trying to define that which you dont comprehend and urging to fit in a meaning? Unless you come up with a better definition, according to most religious beliefs this ultimately leads to the conclusion that God does not need anything to believe in, for he already knows about everything. If you mean worshipping or serving someone, for the serving part, -as taken from a movie quote- God -assuming existent- serves us but is not our servant; therefore God knows what the future will bring in the name of humanity and renders assistance. As for worshipping, last time I checked he was stated as *the* almighty.

The real question is, however, (this should have been asked as a completely new question yet I would not want to discuss this further because it is only a trivial discussion matter whereas is an interesting one) Do Gods compete against each other for humans' beliefs? Why do modern religions suggest that there is only one true God? Maybe they are trying to make us believe in them to earn themselves more credit in the competition. Why multiple books? Interesting, eh? ^^

FAQ: Why different testaments and books in the Word?

"As regards the Word particularly, it has existed in every age, though not the Word we possess at the present day. Another Word existed in the Most Ancient Church before the Flood, and yet another Word in the Ancient Church after the Flood. Then came the Word written through Moses and the Prophets in the Jewish Church, and finally the Word written through the Evangelists in the new Church. The reason why the Word has existed in every age is that by means of the Word there is a communication between heaven and earth, and also that the Word deals with goodness and truth, by which a person is enabled to live in eternal happiness. In the internal sense therefore the Lord alone is the subject, for all goodness and truth are derived from Him" (Arcana Coelestia n. 2895).

God is so many things; we cannot contain him!!! He is all the Great I AM!! He is the greatest, so he does not have to believe in anyone else; noone else is worthy! Does that make him atheist: NO! He is God, therefore he believes that there is a God, since He is God.

God believes in himself, just like I believe in myself. However, if I believe that I am god, then I'm an isolationist.

God is an isolationist. It's a philosophical philosophy wherein you believe you're the only truely thinking entity, and everything else is just a reality created by your own mind. Other thinking entities aren't actually thinking, they're just phenomena that appears to be thinking. So god creates his own reality, he's the only real god, so I guess that makes him an isolationist.

God is a hopeless romantic. He believes in Love, Goodness, Honesty, Beauty, Honor, Joy, Peace, Destiny. Shall I go on, or do you get the picture???? Who does He believe in? All those who join Him in His Glorious Plan for Humanity and participate in all the things He loves.

To believe in something means to accept as true or real. He doesn't need to "believe" in Himself because He IS. That's as simple as language can say it, lol. And no, it doesn't make Him an athiest because it's not for Him to believe that He is, it is for humans to believe and acknowledge Him because He is the means of life, salvation, and everything else. He can do anything because He is Almighty. He doesn't need to believe in Himself, He just IS, DOES, and CAN. :)
He has all the power. He doesn't need to believe anything because he is all-knowing, all-powerful, no beginning and no end. Where does he even begin to have to believe in Himself or anything else for that matter? Who is what He is?
