Other answers are only partially correct.
Get your pup and yourself into a training class or if you can afford it a personalized set of training. Well worth it and you will be both trained.
In-between class and afterwards spend just 5 minutes when you walk your dog to reinforce the lessons.
By the way, I think in addition to sitting other commands that are very improtant are:
Stay
Come
Down
Have fun

Google "clicker training" and "positive dog training". In my opinion, this is absolutely the best way to train a dog. Labs are generally highly trainable, but dog training is never really what I'd call "easy". It does take daily time set aside for training, and "stay" is a pretty advanced command.

He'd somewhat "pass On. never seeing the gentle of day back. Kinda like Vince Foster does in the present day. Forgotten completely. i come across "long term in the past" rather ordinary for the Left. basically as better halves of abusive husbands ought to forgive and pass on. An hour after their hubby slaps them around. yet, ought to continually remember about that THEY as quickly as forgot to serve supper on the main remarkable time. 20 years back. basically as Republicans ought to continually remember about that GWB became "chosen" no longer elected That Gore became "cheated." Which got here up back interior the 2012 election. Of, direction. Libs will deny they further that up in 2012 and are nonetheless angered over that 2000 loss. ask your self whether Rutherford B Hayes had the comparable difficulty over being "chosen" back in 1877? in spite of everything? He too became a (gasp!) Evil Republican. ask your self whether the Dems had forgiven via--oh say 1890? guess they hadn't----

well i got my siberian husky at the age of 3 months and she is now 5 months and she already knows how to sit, lay, jump, hide her face, and roll. how i did it was i 1st taught her how to sit. you get a piece of dog food and say sit and do it for a long time. to a little bit of a hand motion. then after she has learned that than do the same with other tricks. yup. good luck! :)

u don't. a 6 month old lab is hyper. You can start training him with puppy training classes but please don't expect him to sit and stay and be quite. Yesterday we had a perfectly sweet 1 year old lab purbred that had been surrendered to us at the SPCA because of unrealistic expectations. Remember and keep realistic expectations please.
