It's very good. Here's how I make it, and it's a complete meal. Other recipes leave out the meat and the chopped tomatoes (just using tomato juice or sauce, and it's just a side dish).

Brown 1 pound ground beef and 1 large chopped yellow (Spanish) onion. Drain off all fat. Add I can beef broth and I cup rice. Season with salt, pepper, chili powder and garlic powder. Stir and simmer for 20 minutes. Add I can tomato sauce and 1 can chopped tomatoes. Stir and simmer until all liquid is absorbed by rice, at least another 15 minutes. Adjust seasoning to suit your taste. ENJOY

There are many ways of making Spanish rice. There is the puertorican way, Mexican way and Colombian way etc. etc.
but I suggest you get a book or hook up with someone who
speaks Spanish.

Its delicious.

Spanish rice is great, but they are many ways of making it, I preferred medium grain rice over long grain. medium cooks better.
