ever heard of 'self fulfilling prophecies' ;o)
that is, if somebody famous or of importance said it, its more likely to happen ;o)
for instance, there were lots off philosophers but the ones we know of now were close friends of powerful people or famed, there are millions whose words we have lost forever - history is written by its victors as they say
