Where can I find video/pictures of the dangers of unrestrained children.?

I'm not talking about the dangers of air-bags to kids. I need them for children sitting in the backseat of a car with out a car seat or seat belt. I need this to convince my in-laws how dangerous it is. Unfortunately the more graphic, the better. Even animated videos would help.

They aren't taking my 21 month old daughter. Its my 2 1/2 year old niece they are endangering. Plus my sister-in-law is days away from having another baby which will undoubtedly be subjected to the same endangerment. I just can't sit idly by and do nothing.

Try contacting the local driving schools or high school (if they offer driver's ed) If they don't have photos or videos, they may be able to tell you where to find some. I believe the state patrol usuall has some graphic scenes on file.... maybe they'll share.

If you're in the United States, call the cops on them. They may not care about safety one bit...and you lecturing them is unlikely to change their opinion. Let the cops give them a better reason to obey the law.

I'd have suggested calling Child Protective Services (the agency name varies by state) but they're probably more dangerous for the kids than being unrestrained in a car.

If you can't get them to restain your children in the backseat of their car, the concept is easy to convince them, stop them from taking your children anywhere until they are prepared to abide by your rules.
