who wrote the bible? "Holy men of God wrote as they were moved by the Spirit of God" Peter - "All scripture is given by the inspiration of God (God breathed through his disciples) and is profitable for doctrine instruction in righteousness... what do u live by-do u believe Jesus or do u follow another god of self seeking?
Isaiah said our Messiah would be marred more than any man (chapter 52 vs 14 "He will lay down his life as our lamb sacrifice and make atonement for our sins (Isaiah 53) also in that chapter-Holy Isaiah wrote vs 6 "All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all"
well i believe my Jewish scriptures-some come here and say they want to debate and that they are Jewish and im not -because i believe Isaiah-and they dont-why not pray for them to come out of darkness and see the light-thanks alot friends-peace shalom
and who do u think wrote the bible-Jesus said heaven and earth shall pass but my words will notPass"

David,
You are a christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades christianity.

Isaiah warn against Christianity
Isaiah warns of coming chaos:
24:1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. 24:2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; ... 24:3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. 24:4 The earth mourneth [and] fadeth away, the world languisheth [and] fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
Then he says WHY this will happen:
24:5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 24:6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, ...
The New Testament advocates all three of these things
1. Transgressing the Law:
•Galatians 3:13
•Galatians 3:24
•Romans 7:6
•Galatians 5:
•Hebrews 7:12
•Romans 4:13-16
2. Changing the Ordinances:
•Ephesians 2:15
•Colossians 2:14
•Colossians 2:20
3. Breaking the Everlasting:
•Colossians 2:16
•Galatians 5:2
•Hebrews 7:12

Apocalypse, from the verb apokalypto, to reveal, is the name given to the last book in the Bible. It is also called the Book of Revelation.
Although a Christian work, the Apocalypse belongs to a class of literature dealing with eschatological subjects and much in vogue among the Jews of the first century before, and after, Christ.
The author of the Apocalypse calls himself John. "John to the seven churches which are in Asia" (Ap., i, 4). And again, "I, John, your brother and your partner in tribulation . . . was in the island which called Patmos, for the word of God" (i, 9). The Seer does not further specify his personality. But from tradition we know that the Seer the Apocalypse was John the Apostle the son of Zebedee, the Beloved Disciple of Jesus. At the end of the second century the Apocalypse was acknowledged by the historical representatives of the principal churches as the genuine work of John the Apostle.
And it ping and pongs back and forth ad infinitum...
Bottom line - no one is sure and it doen's really matter in the end...

Ah, nothing like a senseless rant to reaffirm that I have taken the right path of non-beleif in sky pixies. Thanks for the daily reminder....
No one knows who wrote the book. But I can tell you that it was a group of mortal men who were looking for answers to questions they couldnt understand. So they invented responses. Epilepsy is a medical problem - not devil possession. Bushes that spontaneously combust - known to grow in the middle east, and give off highly volatile oil that burns in sunlight - not God speaking from a burning bush. Parting the red sea? Natural phenomenon, caused by wind blowing in one direction on an unseen ridge located 10 fet under water - not God parting the waters for Moses.

the bible was writen a thousand years ago... no one is SURE who wrote it... and no one is sure either that a god wrote it...
most probably, it was an hoax. (simplest explanation is always the right one, and since I don't see people walking on the water or a god coming down from his summer house above the clouds everyday... means it was an hoax...)
The same thing goes with all "holy books"
