I am going to my boyfriend's cousin's engagement party. The couple is in their late 20's and already live together. What would be a good engagement party gift?

What? now they have engagement gifts! what's next, gifts for kissing. if you must bring a gift, try a plant or bottle of wine. generally people don't get gifts forgetting engaged, especially when thy are already shacked up. wait for the wedding.

It probably depends on the couple. Give them something relating to a hobby the have, or something nice for their house that they don't already have. Gifts that show you know the person you're giving them to are always the best, because they will know you put time, thought, and effort into finding just the right thing!

A quotation book about love or "Chicken Soup for the Couple's Soul". Or money or a gift card that they can use towards what they will need for their home???

Call me old fashioned, but I wouldn't get a gift for the man. His gift is his soon-to-be bride! To him you say, "Congratulations on the acceptance of your proposal!" I like to get the woman a gift certificate for a manicure so that she can show off her new ring (you can write that in the card).

I would get them a gift certificate. They can choose what to get. Get them a gift certificate to a department store..Macy's or Nordstroms or something.

A gift certificate to a nice restaurant. Write on it that you want them to have a romantic dinner, your treat!

Money...They'll need and appreciate it. Or you can buy them a spy camera kit and telephone recorder so that they can catch someone cheating before they get married, lol, not forreal.
