Freedom of the press. Israel and Hezbollah's conflict is what's newsworthy. It is like when they started focusing on Iraq and forgot about Afghanistan. Or when they started focusing on Afghanistan and forgot about Somalia. Etc, etc, etc

As far as the mainstream media? The mainstream media has a very short attention span and likes to focus on the tragedy of the moment. They will swing back there after this is over (unless something else pops up first).
