No one wins in a war. Property can be restored, but even a lifetime is not long enough to resolve grief over a lost loved one.
Since Muslims, Jews and Christians believe in the messiah, maybe praying for the messiah to come and bring lasting peace before the world destroys itself would be a win-win-win solution

Use a commentary with the Koran. Like most texts using it without understanding the history behind it can allow you to use it to say whatever you want. Be skeptical about statements, particularly, that limit your person free will without grounds of morality. People from all religions do this to generate fanatics by using liberal translation of the passages of the holy texts. For instance book 5 of the Koran appears to be discussing issues for dealing with PAGAN Christian and Jewish customs, this was a problem when the book was written.
Basically, if something someone says about your religion is an afront to your morallity, or what you know is right; Like an afront to Peace. You have an obligation to find out the truth before you accept it. If the Koran is valid, then the truth will set you free.

The best way to clean up their reputation is for the good Muslims to tattle on bad Muslims. Every group that has terrorists in its ranks, no matter what affiliation, needs to turn over the members that are trying to plot terror acts. That goes for everyone, not just religious groups.

When they are convicted in their heart by the Holy Spirit for not believing on the Lord Jesus Christ & repent to God for not believing in the Son of God, the Lamb of God, To repent to to God Most High (El Elyon). Repent to Yahweh Elohym one Yahweh. Humble themselves before God, repent & turn away from their wicked way, and God will heal their land.
