I was just introduced by a friend in cali to her best friend. And she showed this best friend my myspace, and told her a bit about me, and this best friend reallly likes me now, but I'm in florida. We've talked 2 times on the phone, and some online. Last night we talked for 5 hours on the phone till 4 in the morning. Now she realllly reallly likes me. And yeah i do like her, but she's in california and i'm in Florida. Part of what we talked about was dirty, and she says she wants to change the fact that i'm a virgin, which i certainly don't mind, because I really do like her. And she said she's visiting florida next summer. I'm just not sure if it's worth long distance, or if i should stick with girls in florida and somehow tell her to wait. We're both 16. We talked dirty alot...........but we also just chat, and she seems like a really nice girl. Good sense of humor, real nice laugh, outgoing, all things i've been looking for. A nice girl, she's just in cali and i'm in FL.

Plus I feel like I'd be letting my friend down if i don't do long distance because she really wants to hook her best friend up, and she knows i'm a really nice guy and would never hurt her.

I'm doing the whole long distance thing, and my boyfriend is visiting next summer, so I'm in exactly the same boat as you.

I think you can handle the long distance thing...at least try it..wont it hurt more knowing you never tried??

Keep in touch, phonecalls, online chatting, webcams...the works. If you want it to, you can make this work.

Good luck, and dont forget, you're not the only one going through this

If you like her than go for it and maybe when you're older to can arrange to be closer together my boyfriend and I lived 3000 miles apart and because we were so close i didn't have a problem with the distance and we were true to each other and now we live in the same house(I moved) but if you think you'd only be doing to make you're friend happy then forget it leading her on wll only hurt her more in the end Good Luck!

i took the decision of having a long distance relationship..u have to ask if ur ready...we started talking when i was 15 n now im 20....were still together and I've fallen in love with him...and were gonna get engaged soon....yes it will get hard ecspecially if u become emotionally attached and u want to see that person....but if u can handle it...u need to TRUST and have PATIENECE...if ur heart tells u shes the one...you'll know it...good luck ;-) a few yrs of long distance isn't so bad compared to the rest of ur life together...
