Ok so from what I can gather is that it's because the bible says he will after a war, an earthquake and a famine. Great well there is a sound argument if I ever heard one. Pick any period in history so where is jesus then? Oh perhaps he died 2,000 years ago and isn't coming back as no one has ever returned from the dead. Say no to jesus ( http://www.saynotojesus.tk )

Same reason God (if there is one) hasn't intervened on behalf of humanity to rid us of strife, misery, suffering, war, etc. Jesus existed and was a man...nothing more or less...not coming back. PEACE!

This particular period of history has the ability for the world to destroy itself. No one wins in a war. Property can be restored, but even a lifetime is not long enough to resolve grief over a lost loved one.

Since Muslims, Jews and Christians believe in the messiah, maybe praying for the messiah to come and bring lasting peace before the world destroys itself would be a win-win-win solution

The only reason I believe Jesus, peace and blessings be upon him, is because no other followers of their prophet made him the son of god. Moreover, he was never crucified, he was raised to heaven directly. He will not take birth, he will come back the same way he was raised. He will complete the rest of his life as the follower of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and will not bring any new commands.

He will come back just to falsify the claims of the Cristian's that make him the son of god.

I don't. The guy died period. End of story.
Why waste your time with this say no to Jesus. Let people believe whatever they want and move on. All organized religion is about division not uniting people.

It is an appointed time when Jesus will return and I hope you are ready because you may be left behind. We don't know God's hand and when he will send his son back but everyone who believes is trying to make things right so they can have ever lasting life.

Hey, that's unfair!

It's somone else's belief system and it's pretty immature to go around talking so synical-like about who a lot of people think is their savior. It's not a good feeling when people make fun of your faith and maybe someday you'll feel that. Stop advertising for a website and get an actual opinion.

Because at the Ascension, He said He would come back the same way He left...to the east.
That is why Catholic Churches face east, toward Jerusalem or at least they used to when things were more disciplined.

Seriously, contact me and I will be more than happy to sit and argue for awhile on this with you. I'd love to prove you wrong.

Say YES to Jesus.

Tom: you know there's other ways to contact people on here without giving out your email address. Click on my name and click "contact" it's totally anonymous. But really, I think you are just making excuses not to contact me because you are afraid to be proven wrong in this situation.

Say yes to Jesus.
Yes, He himself said He would return and He is not a liar.
And you are wrong, He was resurrected from the dead.
