Anything but Purina Puppy Chow. That is the most disgusting food they make. It is full of by products including guts and hair. Purina also makes loose stinky stools.
Diamond Dog Foods has been recalled for killing dogs. It was contaminated so avoid that brand.
Pick a good brand like Eukanuba, Iams, Nutro Max or Science Diet. Never feed a super market brand dog food it is all made cheaply thus making your dog sick.

Lol, stay away from any food you can buy in a grocery store. I feed my border collie puppy Fromm's Large Breed puppy food, an all natural puppy food that's high in fats and nutrients, no fillers. Most grocery store brands like Purina and others contain harmful preservatives and low grade protein that can cause bone deficiencies or other health problems down the road. Go to your local pet store and ask their advice about quality food. I warn you though, it's about twice as expensive as the other stuff.

Hill's Science Diet (small bites) it's great for puppies up to a year old. It is a bit expensive, but it is the best for a healthy puppy. Have fun with your new family member..

Puppy chow~ that is the only dry food my dog will eat. The vet says it is a really good one, it has a lot of bulk so they dont eat much and helps keep them at a healthy weight.

Any good quality puppy food is fine. I have used Authority brand (from Petsmart) since my dog was little, and he's in excellent health.
