Yes you can get a bus, however you could also take the train.

Hope it helps, and absolutely come in the winter...personally I think the Falls are more impressive in the winter with all the ice and snow, and the place is almost empty

Yes you can. I believe they leave from Bay and Dundas. There is also the Greyhound bus, which is not a tourist bus, but it does go to Niagara.

January is too cold to go to Niagara Falls -
I suggest Florida.

You can get a tour bus pretty much anytime of the year.

Yes! The Falls look great on the Canadian side, and when it's cold enough, the Falls could freeze! :)
