ask a vet...if you wash them with a flea shampoo, the chemicals might kill them. :)

First of all, your question sounds like you want to harm the kittens. Hopefully, I read it wrong.
I read somewhere to bathe them in dish soap. I am not too sure about that. I would bathe them using Pert Plus shampoo (vet recommended). Buy a flea comb too. Pick those little fleas off those innocent kittens. When you are done bathing the kittens, return them to mom in a nice sunny and warm spot. Make sure to dry them off really good.
I would also bathe mom in Pert Plus, since she probably has fleas. I would wash their bedding in warm soapy water too.
Don't use flea products such as soap, powder and collars. They burn the skin. Once the kittens are old enough, and are weaned, buy some PurrScriptions (available at PetSmart) and use them on mom and babies.
Worse comes to worse, call the vet for more info.
Good luck!

They do make "kitten" flea powder that will not harm them. If they are old enough you could also take them to a flea dip, if they are of age! You could also get the flea collars for "kittens". I believe they also make a shampoo for kittens that will kill fleas most kitties don't like water though...... But if they have them bad enough it will feel good and they will appriciate it.
Good luck

I truly have a 4-week previous kitten that became lined with fleas. I used first easy dish detergent and an mind-blowing form of the fleas died precise away. She did no longer like the tub very plenty, yet she appeared to sense greater advantageous straight away. I used a blow dryer on the lightest placing and held it faraway from her physique to dry her. She enjoyed it. I placed her on my abdomen and held her with my finger for the duration of her decrease back so i ought to sense if the blow dryer became too warm for her. It killed just about each and all of the fleas. I merely had to %. them off with a comb. solid success looking after the candy kittens. i will't have self assurance that those human beings have been merely going to go away them.

Treat the area they're in, and all adult pets with medicine. Comb the kittens to get the fleas out. The adult fleas will not be able to reproduce, so you'll be flealess in a week.

well normally i'd say give them a flea bath but i'm not sure they're old enough for that yet. um...i think your best bet until they get a few weeks older would be to get them flea collars but you'll have to cut them to be small enough for the kittens. maybe you should call a vet's office and ask them what the best way is. sorry i wasn't more help.

I had this same problem with one of mine. My vet told me to buy Adams's flea/tick spray for kittens/puppies. Spray it into a towel, and then wrap the kitten in the towel for few minutes. That way you are not directly applying it to their delicate skin. It seemed to work find for us.
