And no one cares. I was just back from Mt Clemens Mich and I told a few young people about our troops being killed. They said "So". Then they just walked away.

Another one of your lies?

And didn't you make this exact same claim before?

I know more troops were killed and most young people
unfortunately think only of themselves
The media doesn't help matters by censoring 99.9% of all
"constructive" news items re: Iraq

The only images the lame stream media shows are negative

Its too bad mass media wasn't around for Saddam, but then again
evidently what Saddam was doing to opponents wasn't news worthy. Or could be that since Clinton was President all news reporters had those blinders on and everything was beautiful

There are two wrongs here and neither are right. The first is everyone should care and they were wrong for walking away and saying "so." We should all care about every American.

The second is you using the deaths of good Americans that are fighting so you don't lose your head to Islamic Extremist for the political gains you want. Shame on you.

More troops will die every day, its the nature of war.

Young people who are not affected, dont really care about much, unless it impacts thier World. They are in a small economic and socialistic World all unique upon themselves, and they really dont care about a lot of outside stimulus, such as Government issues and the War, unless they personally have some one who is involved, in it.

Colleges are usually worse, because they are "secluded" in thier secular social and educational groups and the outside World is strange to them.

People who have some age to them, know the value of life, as they are approaching the time where thier Creator will be calling soon for them to appear.

Young people view themselves as "invincible" and nothing will touch thier World. Older people "know" what will affect each of us...

I wish you well..

Certainly, that does not mean that you aren't interested. Many people really are.

Here is a website that shows the counts:
http://icasualties.org/oif/

Of course, many people are not concerned about the 40,000 people killed on US Highways each year. They are unconcerned about the 20,000 young people that commit suicide each year. They are unconcerned about the 700,000 people that are arrested for marijuana use each year.

It's a ME ME ME kind of world. So, I wonder how we can change this? I think that we can start by putting aside our personal agenda, and see if we can work out good compromises that can satisfy most of us. It's a small planet.

Americans are sacrificing in Iraq to save Iraqi civilians we could save our own soldiers by just bombing Iraq into oblivion like we did in Japan the only way to reduce civilian casualties is to put soldiers on the ground. Yes soldiers die but put things into perspective "erudite" about 20,000 Americans are murdered each year that's 54 people a day and there is no war in the US.

You're wrong.

I care.

Just because some idiots said so doesn't mean "no one cares"

Choose your wording better next time.
