Both, but only if I love that someone back.

It has to be a combination of both. Showing it is the most important but an equally important part of a relationship is TELLING the person you love them, every single day, and several times each day. Whether it is a girlfriend, wife, hisband, son, daughter, or parent. Too many guys seem to think that TELLING their loved ones "I Love You" is somehow unmanly or feminine. These guys soon become single again and then they don't have to worry about it any more.

Why not both if someone tells you that they love you in a realationship but dont show you the love than how do you really know they mean it and its just not to keep the other person happy by saying it!

Both. It's nice to hear it often, but anybody can say they love you. If somebody says they love you but then don't act like it then it really doesn't mean much. I don't think they need to show it in a big, expensive way, though, spending time with that person and treating them with respect should be enough.

I highly reccomend you read THE FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES by Gary Chapman this will clear thiing right up reguarding how we give and recieve the message of Love. Most importantly people could be trying to show you they love you in their own love language rather than yours so you don't see it as them showing you love. I found this out and was really dumbfounded when I realized what was going on. I now am more observant at how others are trying to communicate love to me.

we need both in this life. I love to hear it, but he has to show it too. it takes a lot of courage to say those 3 little words when you mean it, and if you really love someone, you say it often.

Hi there, i think there is such bad thing happening all over the world(Lebannon crisis, Israel and Plastine conflict, starvation and civil war in Africa, poverty, dictatorship...)that I think I will always be a pleasure to hear somebody say I love yoy or i like be ing near to you or anything else which will make me feel love. I would like people to make me show that they loveme because it is people love which makes me feel good.
And you? What would be your answer to your question?
Jo

That depends on them, as each person express themselves differently. What I would say is to cherish all the people that u know while they are still around and appreciate what u already have :)
