Many times the answers I get are "Jesus is truth" or "Trust in God" or "God works in mysterious ways". The majority of the time these answers do not even fit the question asked. Is it too much to ask that rather than get parroted back the same old statements on a repeated basis we get thought out answers? There are many believers that do this, but there are more that just use the same old rhetoric.

Some feel that they need to have an answer. There will be times when people don't know and don't have the answer. They should either say, "I don't know" or "I'll try to find out for you."

My guess would be that those particular people are "believers" but do not really know what they believe. So, they have to rely on colloquialisms to answer their questions. I know another thing that people use to justify their rhetoric is, "My God does this" or "My God would never do that". Honestly, that's just another cop-out. They make it sound as though they have their own personal Jesus in their pocket. Mind you, I am a Christian; but I try my best to learn as much as I can about my faith so that I can defend it properly.

More seriously, I read recently an essay about birds of all kinds. It appears that they spend the day talking about God. If I can find the link, I will send it to you. CHEERS!
