Please think about this, your eternal life depends on it. It doesn't matter who you are or what you believe. Everyone is subject to what the Bible teaches. The Bible says that it's appointed to man once to die, then judgment. When we die God will judge us by His moral standards. If you've lied, stolen, or used God's name in vain, then you've broken His moral laws, and You will be guilty on judgment day. God has provided a way for all of us to be forgiven, and avoid eternal punishment in Hell. Jesus Christ gave His life on the Cross and Rose again to pay the debt for your sins. What you MUST do is, Repent, which means to ask God's forgiveness, turn away from your sins, and put your complete Trust in Jesus Christ. Only then will you be forgiven and accepted into Heaven, not because you're a good person, but because you're a bad person who's been FORGIVEN. Please give this some serious thought. Everything you say boils down to one single source: the Bible. Why should anyone believe the bible is right if there is no other source to back it up?
The bible doesn't teach ME anything. I don't give a damn about God's laws. I only recognise human laws.
What I MUST do is repent? MUST? Only according to the Bible.
Sorry, but I cannot give this any serious thought. You've made ME a more convinced unbeliever. I am farther away now from religions than I was before I read your question. Thank you very much.

Most of your claims here are simply false. First of all, there is no god, and that alone pretty much makes your post meaningless drivel. There's also no "eternal life", and even if there were a god and an eternal life, there's no reason to believe that you have the right answers about how best to have a good eternal life.
You're simply repeating what you've been told, with no evidence whatsoever. Asking the reader to give serious thought to something that you haven't thought about at all is pretty silly, don't you think?

I know you believe this with a deep conviction, but you should also be asking yourself why you are sure you are right. Romans, Greeks, Aztecs, and Mayans would say you are dooming yourself by not making the proper sacrifices, just as Hinduism states that your are only making trouble for yourself in not accepting reincarnation, atman, etc. Your concern about others is commendable, but remember that every other religion feels that the same towards you and your beliefs. What makes your religion the correct one? If your answer is either frustration because Christianity just has to be right or Biblical scripture, that's not a good sign.

AMEN to the asker of this question! And shame on all you heathens who are faulting her for sharing the good Word. She has as much right to ask this question and others like it as you feel you have to ask questions like "Is my dog going to be raped at midnight with a banana by ghosts? And is it wrong if they do and I take pictures?" You too will be judged by the hand of God and will be cast into eternal Hell if you do not repent. So.. repent! The kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

No, I'm not sure I'm "right." I only know I am as right as my little brain allows, given what I've been able to conclude from all that's available to me by way of evidence.
You first assertion about everyone being "subject to what the bible teaches" is a sentiment you acquired culturally, and for which you can offer no corroboration whatsoever.
But strangely enough, even though you only have your inherited faith to back it up, I'll bet you're "sure" you're "right."

Once again you use the Bible like it is universally accepted by everyone as the total truth, when in fact many people do not. So when you quote the Bible you may as well quote Dr Seuss.

Just as you believe that "everyone is subject to what the Bible teaches", then everyone is subject to what the Kuran teaches according to Muslims. Devout Muslims are just as sure about their religion and their beliefs as you are about yours. They even have a book to back them up, just like you! So, let me ask YOU: "Are you sure that you are Right?" How can you be more sure of your religion than a Muslim is about theirs?

Your convenant with God only decrees you to see that we have all had a chance to hear the word of God. He didn't ask you to jam it down the throats of people who have obviously already heard it.
Please let it go.
Behave like a real Christian.

Thought about it, decided the whole repenting thing sounded boring. Besides, I'm not sorry for what I've done.
