One out of ten citizens of Greece,(my country), lost their lives in the second world war.Millions of Russians too.The list is long. But the cry-babies-Jews advertise the holocaust at any given chance.
And we are supposed to be compassionate, cause if we are not we are called Nazis or anti-Semitic.World, wake up and smell the coffee...2 soldiers were taken hostages and kids get killed as if they were rats.Shame on the killers.History will judge them.

They do have compassion for the Lebanese and have apologized for the attack. On the other hand, no Arab has ever apologized for attacks aimed specifically at civilians, with specialized weapons for maiming. No Arab has ever apologized for operating in civilian areas among women and children which is against the Geneva Convention. No Arab has ever apologized for suicide bombings of buses, hospitals, shopping centers, wedding receptions, etc. etc.

Israel does not demand compassion for the Holocaust, but vows to never let it happen again to any people on earth. Where is the outrage over the current genocide in Darfur? Is the international community aware of that genocide that's been in the works for more than a year? Have you seen any headlines about Darfur? Thousands are dying there. Are they less important because they are Africans?

Think peace!

Shalom

What a preposterous question!!!! The holocaust was a systematic genocide in which 12 million people, including 6 million Jews, were shot, hung and led like sheep to the gas chambers.

The Lebanon/Israel situation is an ugly war between the State of Israel and Hezbollah - an evil ugly terrorist organisation who hides behind women and children.

Israel is far from blameless but lets be very clear about this. The conflict started when Hezbollah infiltrated Israel, kidnapped two soldiers and bombarded northern Israel with rockets. Since then they have fired 2000 rockets and killed over 50 people.

Israel have responded to defend its people. The fact that Hezbollah hide themselves and their rocket launchers in residential areas makes it virtually impossible for Israel to avoid civillian casualties.

You may think that Israel's response has been disproportionate. I would understand if you did, even though I would personally disagree with you.

But, for you to compare the deaths of around 500 people who have been caught up in a war because Hezbollah chooses to situate itself amongst them, with the systematic genocide of 12,000,000 people is quite frankly disgusting.

You obviously haven't met any Israelis. they are one of the most self centred, bigoted and belligerent races I've met in my travels. Take an American Redneck abroad, mix him freely with a German Nazi and then multiply by about a million and you've still got someone you'd rather holiday with than an Israeli.

Israelis only actually have a right to play the Holocaust card if they actually lived through it. It's like me pleading about the trenches in the First World War because my grandad was there.

The Holocaust was largely a result of prejudice. The current war is simply a matter of killing people who have repeatedly fired missiles into Israel.

No, it's not hypocritical.

The Holocaust was not about the German people defending itself against a group of terrorist fanatics who wanted to wipe Germany off the map.

Israel's actions are about that, though -- they are about defending itself against a group of fanatics who want it wiped off the map. Fanatics who are effectively using the Lebanese country and people as shields to further their fanaticism.

Whenever an Israeli rocket kills innocent Lebanese people, it's a horrible tragedy for Israelis -- and an opportunity to score "pity points" for Hezbollah, who in many cases are responsible for the innocent people being in harm's way to begin with.

But whenever a Hezbollah rocket kills innocent Israelis, it's not seen that way by Hezbollah. It's not seen as a regrettable tragedy. It's seen as a victory and a cause for celebration.

That's the difference.

No offense, but I am tired of people such as yourself drawing moral equivalency and moral relativity between innocent civilians killed accidentally, and innocent civilians killed deliberately.

Nothing personal, but I hope you never become a criminal judge.

Under your moral-equivalency logic, you'd be handing out the same sentence to someone who deliberately commits assault, as you would to someone who accidentally spills water on someone's pants.

Please, I beg you, don't compare this to the Holocast. SIX MILLION of our people were executed intentionally. Those six million could have been twenty million today.

Why would we be compassionate to our enemies? Our reasons for doing this are different. Israel is trying to defend herself. If civillians are killed, it's NEVER intentional. For some reason though, the palestinians feel it's ok to drop by a pizza shop and explode, trying to kill as many civillians as possible.
Did you know our army sends out leaflets warning civillians of coming attacks? If civillians are trying to hide hizballa members, what are we supposed to do? Sit quietly? It's them or us. WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DEFEND OURSELVES! Everyone else has that right too, but for some reason, only Israel is h.ated for it.
Please try to understand our side of the picture too. Please!

it is because the people who created the middle east countries are biased towards islam and muslims. Islam is easier to control through a "modified" quran... The Indians are the scapegoats. They are idiots to even let other religion people live in Indian land..

Yes. What Israel is doing does seem to make them look like Nazis.

They are 'defending themselves' from a fly by using a bomb instead of a fly swatter.
