First, exercise...alot, Then setup an eating plan so you are eating 4-5 times a day, you are going to want to try to eat between 2500 and 3500 calories a day (or more). The exercise will help because you will be putting on muscle instead of fat, which as the muscle increases will help you gain more weight. Just like with a weight loss program, you might not see a lot of change right away, it may take a few months before you see a noticable difference. You might want to check with your doctor as well.
And don't think you are alone, I was 6'2" and 140lbs when I went into the Marines way back when, by the time i got out of boot camp I weighed 165 (3 months of double rations and a lot of exercise!)

Eat more. You will probably put on weight as you age but if not try to consume as many calories as possible.
Exercise as well. You're right that 125 lbs is a little on the thin side. At 6ft 1, I was a 180 and still considered myself thin

their are products that u can buy at you local gym that help u gain it in a good way...just don't go of eating burgers because even though you gain it and don't excercise you might get other things like high cholesterol...the best thing to do is ask a trainer at your gym what's right for you and i'm sure they could give so kind of shake or pills or anything usful that will help you gain it and no side effects and you won't regret it.
