(if you don't believe me, check the amount of questions that come up just in this section),

But here's my question

Why is it that nonChristians keep asking questions relating to why do Christians say this or why do Christians say that on this board. Why not ask a real question instead of continually criticizing us?

Actually I use the Rainbow because it's a sign of God's promise (aka Noah in Genesid) and has nothing to do with my preferences (I'm in a traditional marriage by the way).

It seems like this is a perfect example of where a person means one thing with a symbol and it is misunderstood for something totally different!

Well I can only speak for myself, but I dont ask "real" questions about the religion because I already know all I want to about it.

What I find far more interesting to inquire about are the rationalizations, contradictions, etc that christians must manage in their minds in order to believe what they believe. I never get tired of exploring human irrationality.

Because deep down non-Christians, specifically atheists and agnostics are searching for the truth. They want to believe we are wrong but something inside keeps bringing them back. Don't worry about them, as they read these boards they are learning. They will never be able to say they were not told the truth of the gospel. Those in the world fight against the truth.

No matter. God is not mocked without consequences for every word.

We knew this was coming. We know that when we confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord, the world will hate us.

"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first" (John 15:18).

"If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you
do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you" (John 15:19).

"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).

"They are not of the world, even as I am not of it" (John 17:16).

I make no comment on those texts. They speak for themselves. If any one can read them carefully, and fail to see that "the world" is an enemy to the Christian's soul, and that there is an utter opposition between the friendship of the world and the friendship of Christ, he is past the reach of argument, and it is a waste of time to reason with him. To my eyes they
contain a lesson as clear as the sun at noon day.

Girl Wonder:

I think a better assessment of that would be: People are hypocrites, regardless of religion or ideology.

But to answer this question, everyone is entitled to their believes. I just hope that we can help straighten out some of the misunderstandings on both sides.

People are ignorant... They don't know how to stop criticizing. Some people think that this is a stupid website to ask gay questions at. Ex. The question you read. I was looking through the questions and one person asked " how do I get my girlfriend to lick my anus".... how childish can people act?

I agree with Girl Wonder. Some of the non-Christians are curious to see what they are missing. But however some are just trying to hurt the Christians for their beliefs.

You're right. I don't understand why people are so against religion but you see them answering or asking questions about it all the time. You got me!

I know that the rainbow is one of the many symbols of the gay community,...is that why you chose it for your background??
