Not wrong at all! I have noticed people getting way too hung up on things like this. You do what you have to do so that your children are taken care of properly. Mothers face enough guilt over the things they do to take care of their children, don't add this to the list.

my mom did the same thing, except i really didnt like it because i thought i was all grown up and stuff..lol. i think she stopped when i was around 7 or 8 though. if she feels uncomfortable with it, then if you have a tub, have her kneel on the tub and you can wash her hair, or you can do it in the sink. just continue to do it unless she feels weird about it. but your husband shouldnt think that it is weird or anything, a lot of people do that.
good luck!

My 8 year old son called me in the bathroom to look at his boy part the other day, I told him I didn't want to but he insisted. I feel it's better for them to be comfortable with things like that so they won't be scared if something happens to them. I am always getting on to my 3 kids because they think they can run around the house however they want and don't think anything of it. My 13 year old daughter came downstairs one day with just her bra on to ask me if it fit her right, I thought my husband, not her father, was going to have a heart attack. Just be glad she feels comfortable with you.

I don't think it's wrong. But I think you should start training her to wash her own hair correctly so you won't have to do this for the rest of your life. Cut her hair shorter to make the training process easier.

nothing wrong with this . at this age girls kinda have a hard time with things between school siblings and girls things . it is hard to remember to take care of all these problems in the shower. if you think this is wrong than teach her how to wash her hair good and then she can mabey do this herself during these things .

Oh my God! What has happened to this world.
There is nothing wrong with your washing your daughters hair.
It would however be wrong if your husband was doing it.
Perhaps he is confusing his natural feelings with yours.

I dont see anything wrong with it but what you cud do is start washing her hair in the kitchen sink(cuz theres more elbow room) until she gets the hang of it herself. Then just clip her hair up and put a shower cap on her when she showers. :)
