it is painful for girls, don't know about men.
it will only hurt while your doing it and you'll bleed for like a day. only do it if you are ready and always use protection.

Just make sure your partner is gentle. He has to be one that will take his time with you and all will be well. You will not bleed or anything like that. After that you will be on cloud 9. Your friends will want to know what is wrong with you.

u may bleed for a while and the first time it might hert a lot cause all that squezzing and jumping in u'r bed at night just keep pads on and check on u'r migina everyday
