I am a full time student (nights from 5pm to 8pm) and a mother of three. I am 5'3 and weigh 270 pounds. I have little time for exercise, but I will try at least 30 minutes a day in the evening after classes. For those who have tried Weight Watchers, does it work with my schedule? What should I do to get started?

Someone I work with is on it, she's lost 50 pounds so far in a few months. she doesn't exercise. Call them and set up an appt.
You will have to do weekly weigh-ins, but you won't have to stay for the meetings.

I didn't have any success with Weight Watchers, or with any of the dozens of other diet plans I have tried in the past. I am however having great success with NutiSystem. You can work the program with or without the NutriSystem food. I highly recommend that you check out this website, which was started by a NutriSystem member http://s2.forumforfree.com/index.php?mfo... It's basically made up of people who are on the NutriSystem plan, some using the NutriSystem product and some doing it on their own. It's loaded with information about weight loss and health. Just reading the boards is an education in itself. Oh, and the people are very very friendly and helpful. You will find tons of help, recipes, advice, support and encouragement.
Good luck.

PS No meeting, no weigh ins.
