The reason I post my questions is not to just "bug" Christians.
It's because "Christians" want to teach "Creationism" as a "Science" in our public Schools, using my tax dollars.
I'm an Engineer and that "Scares" the hell out of me, as it should you.
Does that help clear it up?

(a) Science is not absolutely at odds with faith. But they are two entirely different disciplines that only mix as well as oil and water
(b) By the strictest definition of science, one can only DISPROVE something, and by process of elimination find the most likely solution. Whatever is left, no matter how unlikely, is the answer. Therefore, since there is no way to prove or disprove the existence of God (since belief is based strictly on faith) either physically or philosophically, trying to use science to appeal to secular critics is a waste of time.

No, God is true, truth per definition has to be logical.
(not everything logical though has to be true!!)

Its true though science does not answer anything about the existence of God. The scope of science is matter, not spirit. That does not mean it does not exist, its just not the scope of science. But in nature we can find the fingerprints of God.

So if you ask me if God can be proven logically, it can...if you ask if he can be proven scientifically in matter, no because matter is His creation, Hes not found in matter, He is spirit Himself. Therefore science can never answer that question without going outside there territory.

Much like you can never prove humans by finding an old house. But you can tell something intelligent build it. It has purpose, planning structure etc.

Because the people that aren't christians keep asking questions and expecting us to answer a certain way. If we answer using the BIble, we're told not to do that. If we answer logically someone else comments we should use something else. If we answer scientifically, that is commented on too.

I'm starting to think people who ask questions just like this do it because they enjoy making Christians run through hoops and really don't want to exchange any real questions and answers.

That is a misrepresentation of the problem. They are not trying to "prove God with Scientific Methods"... they are trying to undermine science (materialistic naturalism) by introducing elements of the supernatural.

I did not know that the religious was trying to prove God's existence through scientific methods!@

The religious are quite content believing that an 800 year old man head a burning bush talking.

I guess the old way of just saying he exists is wearing thin. The problem is what if they prove he doesn't exist. Will they tell anyone? or just keep the collection plate circulating.

They are grasping at straws. "God" is just a word to explain the life energy that holds all matter together and allows it to breathe. One can call it whatever one wants.

Scientists can tell us how things work, and what they are made of, but they haven't yet come up with an answer to the question "Why?"
