I like diagonal....mommy used to always made my pb&j in 4 little squares though. She's the best.

this is a great question!
If the sandwich is just for me, I won't cut it -- I prefer to pick the whole thing up and eat it like that.
If I'm making the sandwich for someone else, I'll cut it straight -- I think it holds together better like that and is easier to eat than diagonal. Never in squares -- that's for little kids. How about a piece of toast? That I'd always cut diagonally - - don't ask me why!

I usually slice my s'wiches diagonally but sometimes I got right down the middle.

I always cut diagonally from the corners then place 2 together to make butterflies for my daughters.

It depends on what kind of sandwich it it. Grilled cheese sliced diagonal, and turkey with cheese and tomato straight.

Diagonal, I like the acute degrees on the corners... smaller to put in my mouth. :) I've always considered triangles more exotic than squares from a young age. ;)

I like mine diagonal, I Guss it just looks more attractive and stays together a little better.

In Liverpool we slice our butties diagonally when we have guests, either that or cut it into 4.
