theres this girl who i really like - she told me she liked me and ive heard tht from her friends too. but she is really really shy!! i know i will have to make all the moves to get anywhere but is she really shy or trying to let me down in a nice way by not doing nothing??

Hi .First congratulate that the girl like u.from this u r 90% problem solve.Now come to the point ,u say that she is shy,this is becoz she is young or not mature.The other thing is that girl is of consevative nature .she donot want to openly show of this relation,due to some fear or any other problem from parent side,it may be anything,so u may have understand it,Secondly we guys excited very quickly ,we generally want to show of these things openly,becoz we think that this would lift our personality or value.on otherhand girls r calm,they wnt to go things slowly.they donot want to open it general people.So first u have to be patence,ask her to be cool,Gain her confidence.try to built ur image of more caring towards herself.Surely u win & what u want.

haha.. if she told u she liked u and her friends told u, she likes you!! :).... u know what? u are RIGHT... u do have to make the moves. do it now, before she gets so shy she doesn't even want to do anything anymore. just ask her to go out..if she says "yes", yes!! if she says "no".... then oh well. =T.... nothing happens right except u dont' have to wonder wonder wonder anymore. don't be shy... there's nothing to worry about. in fact, as a guy, u should make the moves. a woman will tell u "no" if she doesn't want to.. so if u go on a few dates and want to hold her hand or kiss her, just do it. and if she pushes u away, u will know to slow down. but u'll never know til u try, ESP w/ a shy girl. don't push her to do what she doesn't want to do, but don't expect her to give u hints and stuff if she is really shy. u just need to ease and feel ur way until she feels comfortable enough to Tell u what she wants... :)!

She probably is really shy -- I'd hang in there if you're really interested in her. If she was trying to let you down in a nice way her friends would probably tell you she's not interested in you. Most women who are really shy aren't playing any games at all -- they are just truly shy. If she says she likes you then I'd take her word for it.

XXXXXXXXX talk to her, make plans with her friends to meet at a park or something then tell them to leave you two alone for a few minutes. She told you she liked you right? Why would she lie? Was she clear in the way that she said it? Or was it like a " You're a really cool guy i really like you as a friend" type thing?
Maybe she wants to take it slow..... keep talking to her continue to get to know her. If you get to know her character better it'll be easier for you to discern whether or not she's the type of girl that would lie.
Whatever happens continue to be straightforward and honest with her about how u feel.

Maybe she's just shy. Give a shot, talk to her. Find out what she likes. Show your interest in her. Get her number, and ask her out. Take her to the movies or just out to lunch. Meet her parents, if you're comfortable around her parents and friends, she'll be comfortable around you.

you make a good point. but it seems that if she said she liked you then she does... no girl is going to lead you on this early into something. if she don't like you, she'd have found a nice way to put it. this would be different if you were seeing here for a few weeks and she wasn't doing anything....but give her time once she gets to know you she'll come around. promise....then you'll wana shut her up...lol....j/k or atleast i hope not. :) good luck

If you havn't told her and everyone that you like her then she can't be letting you down. She is most likely shy and you just need to go for it.
