How about writing a short story on how God can kill millions and millions of people and still have people in crazy-love with him. Then you can go back to your other writing...

As a college student, I empathize with your pain...LOL
First of all, take a deep breath...being stressed over a late paper makes writer's block even worse!
One thing that I find helps me is if I start by writing down the topic, followed by one-sentence statements of the main points I want to cover.
Then I just start writing. I don't worry if it makes an sense yet, that's what a rough draft is for. I just write down whatever comes to mind on each point. Then in the next draft, I go through and do some cut and paste to make sure all my ideas are with the right point I am wanting to make.
Then, one point at a time, I go through and take each sentence and turn it into two or three sentences, explaining that particular idea. This helps a lot if you have a minimum word limit (If you can't dazzle them with detail, baffle them with BS...LOL)
When that is done, I print out a copy and go throgh looking for any minor changes or corrections I want to make (sentence structure, grammar, etc.) Looking at a print copy helps me get a different perspective on my paper and helps relieve the frustration of staring at a computer screen. I can also take a break and have something to eat or relax for a bit, while still working on my paper.
Then I go back on the computer and write up and print my final draft.
Then I have a cold beer...LOL
Good Luck!!!

Couple ideas:
1) walk away from it, take a shower - for some reason brilliant ideas always come in the shower.
2) In the future always have a little notebook handy that you can write your ideas in right when you get them.
3) Just type everything you do have, even if it's crap, once you have that first draft down it becomes a lot less intimidating, then worry about organizing it.
4) Get a friend to help (read and review that rough draft).
5) Ask yourself what are you trying to say? How would you say it to a first grader? Write that down, then worry about making it sound pretty.
Good luck!

You have writer's block because you are stressing. Creativity can't flow if you are stressed out. I suggest you take some time out, go enjoy the outdoors, take a swim, go for a jog, go out for dinner and a show, or just catch up on some reading. Heck, if it's already 3 days late, a few more hours won't make that much of a difference. Better to take your time and do it good, than get in a hurry and blow the whole project...

Well start by relaxing. Then start to type anything. It doesn't even have to be related just get into the act of writing. You will start to see you can "write" you just are not sure "what" to write. That gets you over the first hurdle. Now start reviewing your notes and your outline (you do have an outline don't you? if not do that first) get your ideas fleshed out on the outline. I find is often good to over write then cull out later (that means write too much and not worry as you are writing then GO BACK and edit out what is not neccessary. I try to write every day but sometimes can go weeks without having anything worth printing. Later on when I cull it I find lots of Great Gems that just needed to be pulled out of all the stuff around it.

I write. When I get writer's block I just put pen to paper and write anything. I know that it seems like it will come out hodge podge and it probably will, but you will see ideas. It will formulate from that. Another suggestion is to just write down what you want to express and then put it in an outline to try to organize it. Good luck!

First off, gather all your papers and put them in order. Wait, three days late?!
Get into the zen of concentration: Zen and the Art of Writing.
As a writer, I too, occasionally get writer block. What I have to do is sorta brain-wash myself to concentrate. For me it works.
Clear your mind, take phone off hook--just you and your writing.

You have block because you are stressing so much --- take a walk and put it down for awhile - then go back to it fresh and not so stressed out.

I find that if you're having a mental issue you need to do something that absorbs you physically. Go running or dancing - get your heart pumping and give your brain a rest.
