I've been in a relationship for 5 months now and we are extremely close. However he still drops me to go to salsa bars and dance with other girls. Should'nt we be going together?

Dirty dancing with your partner is NEVER as sexy as dirty dancing with a stranger. You might be reading too much into this.... besides, real men don't Salsa!

If fact, dump him and find a bloke you can trust who doesn't think that mincing about in satin trousers makes him look anything more than a ponce!

Its about understanding and respecting each, from experience I believe its actually really important and very healthy to have outside interests of your own while in a relationship with someone. If he already did salsa before he met you then your being unreasonable about it, you cant expect him to just give it up!
Enroll in some dance classes of your own and meet new people who interest you that you can chill with when he's at salsa.
Being with someone you love is not about how much time you spend together or about being in competition either.
Having said all this if its a case were he chooses to salsa over you all the time tell him to dance off into the sunset!!

A friend of mine goes to salsa without her partner of nearly 15 years, and he's a good dancer. My point being, it's healthy for people to have interests and hobbies that they can do by themselves which don't necessarily involve their partners.
The clue in your question is that you and he are 'extremely close'. By that I take it that you are together pretty much all the time. Give the guy room to breathe. The more you cling to him or restrict him, the more likely he is to stray. At the moment he's apparently just going to have a laugh. Be nonchalant about it, develop some interests of your own that don't include him.
Just because he's out of your sight for a few hours doesn't mean he's on some mad mission to seduce every woman he comes across.

I think i t's important for both partners to enjoy activities independently of each other as well as together so maybe you could go sometimes and he could go on his own sometimes too, or perhaps you could take up a hobby that you could do independently of him.

Sorry, completely OT but where are these Salsa bars? I never knew such places existed and I really fancy learning!

Salsa is a very sexy dance, if you know how to salsa go with him then dance with other guys to make him jealous.
Maybe though you could just talk to him about it and find out why he doesn't take you.

Yeah, are you a good salsa dancer. If not go take a class and wow him. Maybe go out to bars on your own, reverse the roles and see how he reacts.

If you really want him and love him, learn to dance salsa and very well too.

Yeah. If he really loved you, he'd want to do everything with you. Dancing close with someone might as well be cheating - it's intimate.
