its the body heat it reminds them of there mum dont worry tho our 11 month old still does it

She likes the warmth and it is a pretty safe place to her, kittens/cats like to be on a high place because long ago cats found that hight was safe from pretitors. And she probably loves u!

Cats are social animals. Have you ever been to a pet shop and seen 10 cats sleeping in a pile? It keeps them warm, safe and not to mention cute! My cat likes to sleep on the curve of my waist (i sleep on my side) I think I like it as much as she does. It offers a sense and beonging and dare I say ownership? Cats like to be the "king of the mountain". I wasn't kidding with ownership, it's domination, and its a natural instinct. Enjoy!!

The kitten loves you and is bonding with you! One of our cats(about five years old now) does this to my husband whenever she possibly can. It can be annoying but she is just showing her affection for you!

i dont know for sure why kittens do it, but you should allow it to sleep on you because it seems comforting to the kitten. also, it's really cute when they do that. :)

she luvvvvvvvvs you!!! if you don't like it then you shouldn't have a kitten!!! kittens love to be near someone or something that is warm and cozy. when she's by you she feels safe and warm. your like her new mamma. get used to it!!!!!! jeez!!!!!! I have a 2 year old female who still does it!!!

She misses her mom and she loves you. When my kitten was young, he did the same thing.

She likes the comfort and heat of your body. Dont worry pet she wont start sucking ur nipples hehe!!

It is probably warm and she wants to be sure you don't take off on her.
I remember reading somewhere to be really careful with cats and babies cuz the cats do this.

She misses her momma. She wants to sleep close to you to hear you heart beat, reminds her of mom.
